Jacob af Forselles appointed as the new Managing Director of Advium starting in August 2024

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jacob af Forselles as Managing Director of Advium and member of eQ Group’s Management Team. Jacob will start in the position at the beginning of August.
Janne Larma, Advium´s founder and longstanding Managing Director, comments on Jacob’s appointment: “I am very pleased that Jacob is appointed as the Managing Director of Advium. Jacob af Forselles, born in 1973, brings over 20 years of experience in M&A, investments, strategy, as well as in leading teams of experienced professionals. Jacob is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Konecranes. Previously he has held several key roles such as Chief Investment Officer at Ahlström Capital and various positions at Mandatum Investment Bank. Furthermore, he chairs the Board of Finnish Industry Investment and is a member of the Board in Life Annuity Institution Hereditas. Jacob holds a Master of Science (Economics) from Hanken School of Economics and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki.
Janne Larma, Advium’s current Managing Director, will carry on in his operational role until the end of the year and then continue to serve as the Chair of the Board at Advium starting from August 1st, 2024.
